Dosage of Lemborexant

The recommended starting dose of lemborexant is 5 mg.

The dose may be increased to a maximum recommended dose of 10 mg based on clinical response and tolerability.

No dose adjustment is required based on age, gender, body mass index (BMI), or renal impairment.

Caution should be exercised when using the 10 mg dose in patients aged ≥65 years.

Patients with severe renal impairment may be at an increased risk of somnolence.

The maximum recommended dose for patients with moderate hepatic impairment is 5 mg nightly. The use of lemborexant is not recommended in patients with severe hepatic impairment.

Patients with mild hepatic impairment may be at an increased risk of somnolence.
