While exerting the desired therapeutic effects, medications may also induce certain adverse reactions. Although not all side effects will occur, medical intervention may be required if they do appear.
Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any of the following side effects: black, tarry stools; bleeding gums; blood in urine or stools; blurred vision; burning, tingling, numbness or pain in the hands, arms, feet or legs; chest pain or tightness; chills; confusion; cough; decreased urine output; difficulty breathing or shortness of breath; difficulty moving; dizziness, fainting or lightheadedness when rising suddenly from a lying or sitting position; eye pain or syncope.
1. Take this medication orally with water. Follow the instructions on the prescription label strictly and take it at the same time each day. Do not cut, crush or chew the tablets; swallow them whole. This drug may be taken with or without food. If you experience stomach discomfort after administration, it is recommended to take it with food. However, do not take it with high-fat meals. Continue taking the medication unless instructed to stop by your healthcare team.
2. Do not take this medication with grapefruit juice.
3. Your pharmacist will provide you with a dedicated Medication Guide each time you fill or refill your prescription. Be sure to read the information in it carefully every time.
4. If this medication needs to be used in children, discuss it with your healthcare team. Special attention may be required for pediatric use.
1. Overdose: If you suspect that you have taken an overdose, contact a poison control center or go to the emergency room immediately.
2. Caution: This medication is for your personal use only. Do not share it with others.
3. What should I do if I miss a dose?
(1) If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible, unless it is less than 12 hours before your next scheduled dose. If less than 12 hours remain until your next dose, skip the missed dose and take the next dose at the regular time.
(2) If you vomit after taking a dose, skip that dose and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take a double dose or an extra dose to make up for a missed one.
